RAL presents Bionote's new veterinary biochemistry analyzer:
Bionote, one of the world's leading manufacturers in the veterinary sector, now presents its new biochemistry analyzer.
Analyzer and Operation
The VCHECK C10 is a modular analyzer. It features a central unit called the Brain, which includes the display and a working channel. Up to three additional modules, called Limbs, can be added to this unit.
The Brain has a built-in thermal paper printer.
Technology and operation
The Vcheck C10 uses a cartridge system with reagent profiles. The cartridges have a 2D code containing all the information about the test type and calibration.
To operate, 70 µl of serum or plasma must be introduced. Whole blood cannot be used.
Results are obtained in 10 minutes.
Calibration
Calibration is not necessary since all the information is included in the 2D code on the cartridges.
Modules
The main module, called Brain, includes the screen and a drawer, allowing it to work with a single sample.
Up to 3 secondary modules (limbs) can be added to this Brain module. Each limb allows for simultaneous processing of another sample. The cartridges used in each module do not have to be of the same type.
In the future, a second type of limb will be released that will use the VCHECK 200 cartridges and will allow these tests to be performed. There is no scheduled release date for this module yet.
