Introducing the new BIOGUARD line for performing antibiograms on samples of urine, stool, skin, ear discharge, wound exudate, pus, and tracheal exudate.


An antibiogram is a microbiological study performed after isolating a bacterium from a sample of urine, stool, ear discharge, etc. Its purpose is to evaluate the bacterium's response to different antibiotics, determining whether it is sensitive, intermediate, or resistant to each one. In English, it is known as an AST (Antibiotic Susceptibility Test).


Reagent Kit:
The available kit is called Panel 2. It is a rotor system and analyzes the following antibiotics:
